Tree.

So I thought another freaky thing you would all like to know is that both my sis and I got together with our respective boyfriends within the same month of the same year.
I swear to you, it was not intentional.
Anyway.
3 years, my dear, is a long time. While this marks the third year in a row of not being physically together during our auspicious day, I’m thanking God I no longer make an issue out of it.
Now that’s growth.
Identical twins have all the fun!

Wow. We really are freaky.
Last night I had a dream Shanti called me from Melbourne, and we talked for hours.
Today, Shanti’s Facebook status read “Shanti Michael is flipping out over her ginormous phone bill!”
Think that is freaky?
My sister also had a dream about Shanti that same night I had mine.
And we have not spoken to each other for a week because I’m away.
Freaky or Freaky?!

Unless you are an identical twin, I do not think there is anyone in this world who will be able to understand the connection I have with my twin sister.
It’s a remarkable relationship: we talk, laugh, gossip, fight and share secrets. Yet the best moments, I think, are the moments when we need not say anything to each other to know what is going on in the other’s mind.
A few nights ago I was staying with Noel at my grandma’s. Celine was not with me. Late into the night I suddenly stopped dead in my tracks. My over-active imagination went into full gear. I was not ok. I tried to sleep. I tossed and turned, worrying Noel in the process (who probably thought I was raving mad at this point as I couldn’t tell him what was wrong).
It turns out I was right.
This week, Celine is in Jakarta. We promised to keep in touch. While I do not expect a flurry of sms-es or calls from Indonesia (she is visiting her boyfriend after all), our twinny radar has been activated.
We’ll see how this week goes.
About 2 weeks ago, I met my colleague’s twin .
It was a freaky experience. They turned out more identical than I expected. And they even had the same voice and expressions.
But the freakiest thing was the relentless giggling. All the way back I was thinking ‘Jebus, they’re just like Lee and I!’
