RIP Sammy

After a long battle with cancer, we decided that it was time for Sammy to be received into guinea pig heaven.

Sammy lived to the ripe old age of 6 and has been a good pet. He has been a mediator of peace between Muffin and Max (our dogs) and has shown great strength and wisdom in dealing with his illness. He never once complained of the pain and instead chose to focus on the happier things of his life such as his veggies and Muffin’s and Max’s chaotic but enjoyable company.

He was put to sleep this evening and with that we bid Sammy adieu. May he be happy and free of the pain he was plagued with.
